PROJECT TITLE: TIERRA A TIERRA / LAND TO LAND
MY ROLE: Development, Art Direction, Brand Identity, Illustration, Layout
PROJECT DURATION: 2 Months
TOOLS USED: Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Sponsors, Human Right Activists, average of 30 to 75
THE BRIEF/OBJECTIVE: Land to Land empowers refugees from war-torn countries by providing information, guidance, and services as they transition to life in a new land. This exhibition was created to present the organization to the community and encourage sponsors to want to be part of it.
PROCESS:
Research and Discovery: I researched a lot of human rights propaganda from various countries, and there was a challenge in tying the exhibit down to one look. Mylo (the owner) and I narrow it down to showcasing the flags but keeping an upbeat feeling to the exhibition. Therefore, the use of colors was important, and therefore came the minimalist looks of the flags all across the board. Enough to add color but not enough to distract the message. This is one of those collaborations that has earned a special place in my heart.
