TIERRA A TIERRA / LAND TO LAND
empowers refugees from war-torn countries by providing information guidance, and services as they transition to life in a new land.
Cultural design trends were explored to create a sense of familiarity. Political propaganda heavily expired during this exhibition, as we wanted to be bold and clear with our message.
Mylo Lopez, the creator of Mylofleur and TIERRA A TIERRA /LAND TO LAND also wanted to make sure that the exhibition still felt encouraging - therefore the use of colors was important and therefore came the minimalist looks of the flags all across the board.
This is one of those collaborations that has earned a special place in my heart.

IDENTIDAD FOUNDATION
Identidad Foundation helps families preserve their rich heritage amongst newer generations as they engage themselves in their American Dream. They bridge inherent gaps between family members through culture and language preservation events, classes, and outreach.
Their mission was presented at the yearly Day of The Dead event hosted at the Springs Preserve. As a Latina with a generational gap with my family members, I knew I had to be part of this experience.
The designs and prints were created with the focus to educate and guide the attendees throughout the experience.
